Pros & Cons
Pros
Tactile keys, email, and calculator * all work. Logitech's site says they don't support the keyboard's use through a kvm, but it has been working very well using a separate usb dongle.
Battery covers still hold on their own unless specifically messed with. Does silence the keyboard quite well, as another reviewer had metioned. I like how it curves around the lip of the keyboard to keep it in place.
The only thing that i'm slightly disappointed about with this is the cloudy look of it. Kuddos to the creator. The colors are so brilliant. Separation is perfect.
The keyboards are so inexpensive that i just budget them as a consumable. I work in a dusty environment that regularly eats keyboards. It is kinda like the old ibm typewriter keyboards.
Cons
The keyboard freezes up or sends bad/duplicate keystrokes. It only works with my laptop, and i have to be right on top of the dongle for it to register. I have had so many logitech peripherals over the years - this is really surprising how awful it is... Read More
When it malfunctions, it randomly deletes words/sentences. The keys are also a little spongy for my taste. Right out of the box misses half the keys typed.
The seller wants it boxed to return. Will be requesting a refund.
Both new and used battery voltage are fine but the keyboard is dead.
Highlights
Quality
No problems and always good logitech quality.
I am writing my review with this keyboard and i can tell you it's comfortable and has a traditional ergonomic design.
It's wireless connection seems to be slowly deteriorating even with fresh batteries.
Instead, there’s the extraneous buttons hardly anyone ever uses, like the email button.
Price
The price for such a useful keyboard can not be beat!
This is a bargain for the price.
It’s a solid choice, especially for the price.
Shipping
Quick delivery and simple to add on.
Packaging/appearance
It and the box it came in fit into my carry-on luggage, which wasn't expected, but nice.
If there is one glaring problem it’s the way that the usb connector is packaged with the keyboard.
Competitiveness
The buttons have a keyboardy “click” to them, unlike the mushy keys on the amazon model, which led to a lot of spelling mistakes.
They have better technical quality compared to other compatible brands.
I bought this, the k270 stand-alone keyboard and a m510 mouse, both logitec.
