Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

The keyboard is backlit when in use or when plugged in. The rechargeable nature of it is nice. The proximity sensor that turns the backlight on as your hand approaches the keyboard is a nice feature.

The mouse is very adaptable to your needs, and probably would work really well for folks who are performing constant pan and zoom functions. An a+ seller also.

The keyboard has a soft, but tactile feedback. The keys feel very satisfying when you press it. They are sensitive. The keyboard is like typing on a dream.

The mouse is a littler heavier than most, but for me that isn't a bad thing. It feels very natural in my hand and has plenty of functionality for what i need. It's not small but it's size is ideal.

The key feeling on the 900 is also even smoother than a new 710 which i like. The keyboard spacing etc is the same as used to on the 710. The higher dpi on the better mouse is also a huge difference.

Cons

Many of the keys intermittently stop working on the k800 keyboard. I think it’s the backlit keyboard and going cheap on the rechargeable batteries because they assume you’ll just plug it in. Battery life on the keyboard is horrendous.

The mx900 combo is the worst to date. It feels flimsy, is really low-profile and un-ergonomic. Mouse is a bit flaky.

For a product of this price range, its durability is unacceptable. Will never buy from this seller.

The mouse, it seems, eats batteries for lunch. It turns itself back on and starts flashing again. Either batteries are no good or circuitry fried.
