Pros

The bass is a little boomy due to the sub woofer handling frequencies up into the low midrange.

The best part is that for under $35 per unit from amazon, there was no tax and the shipping was free. These are great, expecially for the money. Decent deal though. I got this in excellent price after rebates.

The x-240 works with the ipod shuffle. The only thing i don't like is the ipod dock. My only comment is the cheesy mp3 player holder on the control unit.

The sound is really good for the price. I know that my nephew will be very happy. It produces good sound quality and can be utilized by ipod, mp3 and etc.

Cons

For $20 (retail is $50? Secondly, the speakers only have a single 1.

Light weight speakers lack treble and are overwhelmed by the subwoofer. They must be kept at an extremely low level to not drown out the highs. Dull and muddy mids and highs actually pain me a bit to listen to.

They're crazy cheap for the quality too.

Heck, it even works with the ipod shuffle.
