Pros

The sound quality of these z-2300 speakers is simply amazing. I listen to them daily, most often for 2-4 hrs/day, and they have functioned flawlessly. Our set are 7 yrs old and still sound just as great as the fist day!

I get compliments on these all the time, and i was very surprised to see new sets going for $1000+. Bought used, good price. I was just waiting to have the cash to pony up for these (fiance's brother is only 17) shippping was included in the price.

These are high quality speakers. Now my new setup is complete and i can say these speakers are the icing on the cake. I am not disappointed in the slightest.

Cons

The speakers themselves are great quality, but this series has been retired for a reason. Once that happens, the system is pretty much useless.

The sound quality is clear and surprising close to high end speaker systems for the $140 i paid.

Price

The price charged (by a very large computer manufacturer's home & office store) was $112.

Initially i was a bit iffy about the price.

I would by these speakers again but anything above $200 is ridiculous, since new they cost $220 and that was seven years ago.

I have 2 sets you can have half price!

Packaging/appearance

Now my new setup is complete and i can say these speakers are the icing on the cake.

Needless to say the soundbar was returned and i went back to old faithful!

To create a clean look i decided to go with a soundbar that could also be wall mounted and a bluetooth subwoofer.

The only downside is it doesn't do an amazing job with high-end frequencies.
