Pros

The volume * is exellent, its simple yet brillant. The only thing this is lacking is a bass volume knob.

The sound is clearer, the bass is a little louder, and the satellites are twice as loud. The sound has excellent range and provides dynamic bass pulse. Beats creative hands down.

I would recommend them to anyone, they're grrreat! Even with super saving shipment it only takes 3 days to deliver. If you count in the mail-in rebate, than they are the best in their price range.

Now the sub sits on this box under my desk, with the sats sitting on the desk right over it. Sitting what is basically a low-quality sub on 40 lbs of sand has helped it 1000% as well.

Cons

Classical music is unlistenable. Nevermind actually listening to the music. Nothing sounds good except for hip hop.

Sound quality: clear sound, nice treble and low frequencies.

The sound quality is great and they have good volume and base.

Rumbling machinery, footsteps, even background music that my tv speakers just weren't delivering.

In the beginning, this unit was succeptible to startlingly loud static whenever the cables or the unit itself gut bumped.

Price

I got them for $15 at an awesome deal, and i can't stop raving about them.

Now i can blast music to my heart's content :)all in all, a great pair of speakers for the money.

I went as high as $180 for a 2.

After hearing these speakers, i would have paid full pop for these at $100.

Shipping

Even with super saving shipment it only takes 3 days to deliver.

The rebate came in quickly, in a few weeks.

Super saver shipping was to add days to my delivery but they still came in two days.

Packaging/appearance

I filled the box with sand to kill the resonance, and put the sub on the box.

The z3's came, i unpacked them, and hooked them up.

The creature did not even compare to the creative labs.

You can go to radio shack or a store similar to that and buy an adapter to put it in your tv.

It has the same subwoofer as their other sub-$100 systems, but the satellites are why you should buy these.
