I've been into high quality audio for some time and these are quite capable of doing even flac based music good justice.

I am extremely impressed by the sound quality out of these speakers.

They blow away anything i have ever purchased before interms of quality.

The rubber on mine became brittle and cracked after 10 years of use.

I'm buying my second set through amazon at twice the price!

For the price, it is amazing, and would definitely recommend this to anyone on a budget!

As of today, the cheapest used speakers are for $145.

Only 75 bucks and a heck of a lot of sound.

I got an exchange (amazon was very fast in delivering a replacement), but the new speakers also had a couple scratches.

Competitiveness

To be honest, i am not sure why logitech stopped making these or their z5500 set of speakers.

They crap out in a year or two and logitech does not sell them separately.

Logitech's dirty little secret is the wired remotes for their better systems.
