Pros & Cons
Pros
Thunderous, clean bass, crisp highs with a whole lot of volume to spare. Bass strong enough to move my mouse around the table and shake the windows. Love the bass knob for neutral, it allows me to tune the sub quickly and easily for each song.
The thx certification didn't hurt, either, for the betterment of audio reproduction in the theaters.
Logitech setup for under $300. Not disappointed. Worth every penny.
Cons
This is a very treble forward sounding system and the treble is ok but a little harsh. During this time it buzzes.
Will be switching brands. Hopefully they replace the system for free as problems like this do happen from time to time.
There's so much low-end bass that it almost drowns out the garbage of the high-end squeal. The bass sounds very thin even when turned up all the way. It crackles with the bass knob not even turned up to 1/4 the way up.
These speakers are really tall--annoyingly so. Unfortunately it sticks about about 2 beyond the leg and is so clunky looking. I sort of got swept away from all the great reviews.
Cables are far too short to get good stereo separation for the desktop. My $10 headphones sound better. For about 30 bucks more you can get a pair of budget passive bookshelf speakers, a budget class d amp, and some wire.

Price
Can not beat this for the price
I couldn't ask for anything better for this price and i'm thrilled with my purchase.
While not cheap, price for me was budget friendly for what you get.
This is a $150-$170 set of powered speakers, plain and simple.
