The magnet draws each end together and then they screw in so they can’t be inadvertently pulled apart and off

The only problem is they have a bit of weight and i needed them for a very delicate chain and the barrel pulls the necklace back all the time so i constantly have to yank it down in front

Note not all jewelry is adaptable you need one hook and one loop for these to work
