Pros

The lock functions pretty well with a 4 number combination solving the issue of having a key all the time. With that said, i love how easy it is to rotate the numbers. It's not the sturdiest in the world, but we'll do for use on a locker at the gym.

The larger diameter and long shank makes it very easy to use. Easy to set with your own combination. Only i know the code and it's easy to install.

Cons

After less than 3 years as a gate lock, it looks like the weather has gotten to it to the point that it's too cumbersome to use. Still haven't run through the (up to) 10,000 combinations to open it. Had to buy bolt cutters and cannot get lock off.

This lock is the classic example of pennywise and pound foolish. Not worth the hassle of returning.
