Pros
Good hearing protection from longterm noise. Noise reduction makes it much easier for me to concentrate in the office. I prefer ear muffs over ear plugs so that when someone needs to get your attention, they know to make eye contact.
Cons
Comfort, for me, is about the same no matter which earmuffs i use. Difficult to wear, better off with ear plugs.

These shield out a lot more noise than previously guessed.
I've only tried muffs once of twice before and all i recall is how tight and uncomfortable it felt around my ears and head.

I prefer ear muffs over ear plugs so that when someone needs to get your attention they know to make eye contact or tap your shoulder whereas with ear plugs they just start talking until you remove your ear plugs and then you have to ask them to repeat themselves
