The topper fit fine on the dorm mattress (at 2 different colleges) a prominent note describing removal instructions was especially appreciated.

It's allows you to sink in just the right amount and comfortably distributes pressure across your body, even sleeping on your side. I jump from truck to truck several time a week and this was a life saver for my back.

The removable cover is very nice, it makes for a thorough clean up of any messes. The cover has two sides; one that is textured to help grip the mattress and prevent movement.

Linenspa foam is a more modern offering incorporating gel infusion to conduct heat away from the body (rather than insulate) as well as ventilation cutouts. The cooling gel and ventilation seems to work.

Cons

Not cooling. Not because of off-gassing or some freakout about chemicals.

I use a fitted, pillow topped sheet on top of the pad which dramatically helps with the heat dissipation.

The quality is good, the cover is nice.

I wanted a medium mattress but a miscommunication with the salesman got me a very firm.
