Didn't find this mattress protector to get too hot, it still heats up the bed but not as bad as some of the other brands i have tried.
I prefer this style over the all encompassing style, as it’s easier to put on the bed solo.

It doesn’t seem to make the bed any hotter and doesn’t have a crinkly sound either which is nice

The plastic part seem to hold up pretty well after number of washes i hang to dry and tumble dry on low to no heat
