The skirt is so large that it must either be pinned or otherwise dealt with in order to prevent the protective upper surface from shifting

The top surface shrank just a bit after a few washes so it doesnt as completely cover the top of the mattress edges anymore

Also i sleep very hot mattress cover doesnt make the bed hot

The top of it is a little rough but nothing a thin blanket or sheet can’t handle
