My car only has wired carplay and it was always a pain to dig out the cable and connect the phone and then there wasnt a good place to store the phone so it just sat in the way on the center console

The initial setup takes about 30 seconds and after that every time i start the car my phone automatically connects to carplay while staying in my pocket
