Pros

It's flexible enough to bend around things like stair tops, but still rigid enough to make it about 8 feet across before falling. As for durability, this is the third time ive bought these. This one solves that problem and is ambidextrous as well.

Cons

This is by far the hardest to remove packaging i have ever come across. The recoil spring is so strong and violent that within two uses it bent that thin tape in 3 places making it totally useless. It's not sturdy and durable.

There is a button on top that is very hard to press and holds the tape measure in place, but doesn't lock it so once you let go, it retracts. The inch markings are large and easy to read, but every other measurement is so small that you need a magnifi... Read More

It's inexpensive, and has decimals opposite the fractions (i can't remember fractions, but decimals are no problem).

Overall worth the price for how frequently i replace it, but otherwise they haven't let me down

Unpacking was the pits had to risk cutting myself just getting it out of the transparent steel packaging.
