Cons
It is true that they detect motion through a window so it comes on when i walk by the front door. This is un-necessary and would be problematic if i walked by there often. I have no idea why the other comes one as often as it sure seems defective.

I think it's abit pricy for 2 bulbs but other than that i'm happy with the product.
As long as you're good with the cool-white color, these things are pretty great!
Not for use on fixtures with shades or bulbs that with the larger end up.

Packaging/appearance
The product came in secure packaging and comes from a company i have heard of.
Competitiveness
These bulbs fit into a standard light base and operate on 120v ac.
I would guess that the bulbs put out the equivalent light of a 75w incandescent, but use very little power (about 8 watts).
In no case will the cost of a product influence my opinions at all.
But then i ran across these, so i figured why not try these to save the cost and labor of replacing the fixtures.

What they are not good for is other uses within the house except in limited situations

I work at 430am at home so as i walk into the kitchen in the dark to make coffee it will light up instantly and 10 seconds after i leave the area it turns back off
