Brightness
Customers have mixed opinions regarding the brightness of these LED tube lights. While some are pleased with their intense illumination for specific applications like garages, others were initially disappointed due to the noticeable flickering, which is a common issue with LED bulbs and affects about 33% of reviewers.
Ballast Compatibility
Customers have had mixed experiences with the ballast compatibility of these LED tube lights. While some were able to successfully replace their old fluorescent bulbs and remove the ballasts, others found that their existing fixtures were not compatible with the new bulbs. Some customers noted that they were able to power the lights using both ends or just one end, while others had to leave the ballast in place for the lights to work. Overall, some customers have been pleased with their purchase and the energy savings, but others have found it necessary to return the product due to compatibility issues.
