Pros & Cons
Pros
This enclosure accommodates different length drives and even has moveable pins to support the drive lengths, whatever they may be. With slower ssds this enclosure is perfectly fine. Elam datum is an excellent case for a compact usb drive.
Easy to install nvme card into. Installation is straightforward, with clear instructions. No tools required, easy to open to install your drive. Nvme installation is super simple and quick and the materials are really nice.
Aluminium on one side with a heatsink pattern of fins on the other for better heat dissipation. After leaving the enclosure plugged in my mac and using it on and off for a couple hours the enclosure gets just a bit warm to the touch.
Speeds are good with no problem saturating the 3. Gb folder using the usb a port (capped at 5 gbps) sata speed and a respectable m. Nvme speed as well. Usb with a 10gbps transfer rate.

Price
Good value for when you need one.
At this price point (low $20's), you really can't find an enclosure with this kind of performance and ease of use.
Competitiveness
Incredible that the other ssd case makers couldn't think of it.
