Pros
I use it incessantly because of how great it is to handle and delightful to use. This knife is also very sharp and seems to hold an edge well at this hardness. But keep your heavier knives for cutting up chicken and splitting winter squash.
Cons
Not recommended. I suspect that this was not the real deal or the quality standards for mac have zero. Very dangerous in my opinion.

Ive used it daily for 6 months and have only cleaned up the blade (with the mac ceramic steel) a few times.
With the exception of the fact that the logos have been rubbed off due to constant use.
Competitiveness
She works in the kitchen of a resturant 5 day a week.
Been a chef for 20 years now and decided to move on from wusthoff knives.
Blade arrived with a gread general purpose bevel.
I can't compare it to other japanese knives, but the german knives cannot compete.
