Most things are mediocre at best in quality and function, but this item is a rare exception. It’s so convenient, and a very affordable alternative to an apple keyboard. Everything else works great with this keyboard, that's my only critique.

This is durable and well built and i suppose the weight is that of the battery. It feels like it’s a bit protective of my thousand dollar ipad. It's not super lightweight but i like that it is sold.

This versatility is worth needing to charge it from time to time, and tucking the ipad in a sleeve. My ipad mini also fits in the holding slot with the cover on, so i don't have to fiddle with that. That depends on the thickness of the case.

The rubber feet on the bottom of the keyboard prevents it from slipping around. I am (one of the few) nomadic copywriter who has refrained from purchasing an expensive i pad.

If i try to use the phone in a vertical position, it leans back so far, i have trouble seeing the screen. Could not get this device to sync with any other device. Be cautious with this.
