This product has a range of 15-20 feet (5-8 meters) we live in a rural area with no leash laws and this worked well on a * dog that a neighbor lets run free.

Report to amazon for refund. Title says bear spray and is priced for $7. Won’t buy again. Would not recommend. Buy from a real sporting goods store.
