Pros
The reprint value might be a little lower than others, there are a myriad of ways to upgrade this for not a whole lot of money. Playing against other stock precons, it holds up nicely. Perfect for his magic loving self.
Cons
It's just not very powerful and it's very convoluted. If you're looking for a pre-constructed deck with an artifact theme the urza deck that came out for the brothers war set is just way better.

I played with the face commander and against the alt commander and both board states got out of hand quickly
