I had to remove the tapedover paper covers i had previously put on because they did interfere with the magnetic seal

If you need 100 seal you will have to trim the covers so that the screws that hold the vent to the ceiling dont hold the ends of the cover up but if you dont mind a small amount of air passing by on the ends there is no modification required

These are hefty but not so much that you cant cut them to fit

Its difficult to review something like this because they arent flashy dont have any working parts to appreciate or hate and dont have any features to evaluate

Many vents nowadays are either plastic or aluminum and magnets are totally useless on those two materials

I placed one in a high traffic area and regardless of the foot traffic mopping sweeping or much of anything else it never moves
