It comes with both valve covers but i only used the one for the top since only that one leaking

I even froze the seals and heated the hole in the valve cover to make a better fit but nothing would work

The seals are made of a rubbery material that is adhered to a steel ring

My original ones were so deteriorated that almost all the rubber material had separated leaving only the steel ring stuck in there

I thought it was part of the original casting of the valve cover

My neighbor showed me how to remove one by sticking a screwdriver down in the narrow slot between the steel ring and the edge of the casting and prying it out
