    If you have a nvme and hard drive plugged in at the same time take some precautions that the switch for the clone direction is accurate or you could wipe the wrong drive

    The clone feature is a nice bonus except that it seems like it could be triggered unintentionally

    The cloning from laptop was straight forward as i downloaded some cloning software which then cloned all the content from my smaller laptop m2 to the larger 1tb m2 that was in the enclosure

    After cloning was complete i removed the old m2 and replaced with the new 1tb m2 from the enclosure and immediately it was recognized by the laptop but now having a total of 1tb for storage instead

    I havent used it for direct cloning via the device itself as i have not had a need to do that yet but would expect it to also work as well
