Pros

Kevin aucoin's book was my first book purchase on the subject. For the paperback version the price is very reasonable and the photos are beautiful. I really like my new book and found the inexpensive paperback to be a great purchase.

Makeup is not just a mask you paint, it’s so much more. Great makeup tips and ways to contour and dramatize a look.

Cons

It provides little in the way of instruction or guidance when attempting to replicate these looks yourself. That one are very old styles techniques of makeup. Doesn't help you as a beginner to makeup.
