Pros

The specs give the maximum cutting length as 5-1/8 but it's actually a bit more than that. The blade that comes with it isn't too bad either. I know the new ones offer a laser, but i could get a laser disk to put on this if i found a need.

Dewalt 12 sliding compound miter saw. Works great for the hardwood floor installation biz. For the price, this miter saw is excellent.

Cons

Not sure if the notch was machined in the wrong spot or what. Too much play in the stops and the locking knob pulls shifts the base as you tighten it.

If i had the money i would have purchased a makita with the sliding blade.
