Cons

Makita needs to provide a retrofit kit and a formal letter of apology to everyone that purchased this product on the strength of makita's otherwise admirable reputation. It’s a shame. It costs a load of money that i paid expecting some sort of value.

As soon as you pick the track up it falls off. It’s only held in by friction. It needs to have a track locking system that can be tightened down. There's no postive stop for certain angles, and there's nothing that physically locks into your track.
