Pros

Makita 4350 has a quick-change blade housing. Outfitted with * blades of course.

Seems to be an exceptionally well designed tool aside from the suboptimal dust removal design. For the price, it's a shame that you need to buy the dust collection attachment separately.

Most of my power tools are makita. This tool is awesome! It is easy to use and does a great job. This is a quality jigsaw.

This is a top notch * saw. Well made, a little heavy, but not bad, and works very nicely. Only concern is the small clear plastic blade guide.


Cons

Dust blower doesn't do much. Doesn't cut vinyl flooring.

This is a quality jigsaw, though; comfort is an individual thing and if possible i would suggest holding this and some of the competitors.

The saws feels comfortable in your hand, even after cutting through long stretches of 4x8 plywood.

    The delayed motor start the led lights up right way though after you squeeze the switch actually saved my finger a few times i believe that is a feature not a bug

    Also as with many other makita hand tools the attachment uses some inexplicably weird hose diameter but nothing that cant be fixed by improvising a bit
