I hoped that it would attach to the end of the existing nozzle but it is designed to replace the original one it would work better if you could add it on as it would be longer so you could get closer to the ground

Air at high speed assumes some of the characteristics of water and this makes a fan shape flow versus the standard round end nozzle air flow of circular flow which is not directed
