After a hole or two they start to flail a little. They just spin on the brick until the tip heats up and does nothing. One bit drilled about two holes before going dull.

However my drill was not able to handle the extra heavy use going thru concrete and had to rent a contractor drill

I relented and rented a hammer drill from home depot and drilled 50 holes using this bit quite quickly

I did not notice any greater effort or longer time for the last hole than the first

I suppose if i were to make a complaint is that for my project i did not need five drills
