Used this cord to repair an old makita 7 inch sander. My saw uses isolation to protect against shock in lieu of grounding.

Had to eliminate the male fastener on the white common wire as my old makita polisher didnt have a female fitting

I replaced the power cord due to wear and tear on my circular saw

The wires were not colored the same as on my makita circular saw and there was a green ground wire that i didn’t need and which i just cut off

Some liquid soap made it possible to force the rubber anchor through the hole in the saw handle

Also had to cut off a connector on a wire and strip back the insulation to insert the bare wire into a plastic junction

My mikita jack hammer cord was thrashed from loaning it out and the users not paying attention and hammering it just a minor connector modification

The adapters did not want work so i simply replaced them

What i mean is in operation you cannot touch any metal on the saw and the saw itself is not grounded
