Pros

Good thickness in terms of overall feel and strong motor. Fabrication is easier if your not having to change out the wheels every time and just have a grinder for that task- cutting/grinding/flap disk/wire wheel.

Cons

Very disapointed and wont be buying makita brand again. Will probably try a dewalt this time. Harbor freight has equally * products at half the cost.

Good grinder light weight last a long time , will buy again

Makita and quality go hand in hand in my experience.

I used it with a diamond cup grinding wheel to grind 51 year old carpet glue and residue off of my 600 sq.

They get beat up everyday and are constantly in use 5 days a week .

I could have gotten it cheaper on amazon so that was a mistake, but that’s what i get for not doing my homework.

I got a harbor freight grinder to save a little money and put a wire wheel on it and it lasted a week.

I've used many different brand of angle grinders, and this brand and model is by far my favorite to use.

Other name brands never made it a few months here but the makita has proven to be the longest lasting grinder we have ever purchased .

I have been through every name brand grinder, but none of them had the perfect balance in my hand like the milwaukee.
