Pros

The nylon wheel does excellent job of cleaning up old boards without giving them a sanded finish. Bought it to clean up some old growth redwood beams. Givind you a weatherd or rustic look to your wood or timber.

Very nice brush finisher. Makes easy work of what otherwise would necessitate hand brushing with a wire brush. Only drawback is that it is a one-trick pony in that this is all that i will ever use it for.

A picture is worth a thousand words. This makita is amazing. As to performance, it is fantastic.

Pricey, it seems to be the only on the market at this time, but it came within two days (amazon prime) easy to use. Can take the constant use and easily repaired.

Cons

Back in the box and on the shelf. The brush it came with is pretty useless, so i had to spend more money on the wire brush.

This thing does a great job and it has paid for itself a few times over for me, with the stock nylon brush.

The abrasive nylon brush supplied with the sander may be useful for aging a painted finish, but is useless for aging bare wood.

Applying any finish to this wood requires that the surface be cleaned if a quality result is to be likely.

As i progress in my business i find that it is important to have the correct equiptment to do the tasks at hand.

Its a pricy tool but has many uses.
