Pros & Cons
Pros
The sander is so sturdy and done a really good job. Best part is the flat top so you can flip it upside down and use it. Comes with a large, sturdy box too. It is a good quality tool but has a polycarbonate housing.
Highlights
Quality
I haven't used this sander yet but i stand by makita's quality.
That was the issue with the ridgid sander, to the point i had to adjust as much as i used it.
I wanted a good quality belt sander to sand my deck.
Price
I would rather get no case and the unit cost $50.

Both have a poor tracking adjustment as it is a phillips screw for adjustment

But at least the makita needs very little adjusting

Would be nice if it was a small knob you could use with your fingers but it is quite close to the edge
