Cons
The metal is just too soft. Once inserting your bit, it is permanently stuck. They are horrible.
Theres a reason it's a $2. The seller was great, the product is not. Disappointing offering from makita. The worst. I have to say this was a disappointment.

Please note this bit holder is designed to be used with replacement bits only that are about 12 inch long not as an extension for other bit holders or other use alone bits

If the screwdrivers bits you use have a step in them like most do they can get permanently trapped in this bit holder

There is a wire retention ring in the holder that is supposed to keep the bit from falling out but it would not release the bits i use

I had to remove the retention ring with a pick destroying the ring in the process to get my bit out

Put it in a vice and pulled with pliers and no way

The shorter bits for torx or square screw heads do come out with pliers not with fingers
