Pros

Easy to use, lightweight and very rugged. Dual option of battery and plug in makes this fan awesome.

Good bang for the money, it’s not too strong but for what i use it is perfect. Built very very well, seems like it could take a beating. Easy to use, * are very easy to use.

Easily fits in a * pad for bouldering. My favorite feature is how slim it is. The only shortcoming of the design is that if you tilt it back too far it will fall over.

Hvac tech uses it to circulate air in enclosed spaces. Light weight and provides good circulation. Great breeze to sleep with.

Not a complaint, just an observation. Love this fan. This fan is awesome.

Cons

Worked one time for about 5 minutes with a battery. Yes the milwaukee fan is overall way better.

Last about 8 hours on 1 battery lowest setting.

Price

Worth every penny; especially if you already have makita batteries.

I paid about 120 for this one, the other one is about 150.

Good bang for the money, it’s not too strong but for what i use it it’s perfect.

The other also costs a little more also.

Packaging/appearance

I take it with me on trips and it's easy to pack because of the flat design.

Doesn't throw as much air as the milwaukee fan, but the packability was the deciding factor.

Competitiveness

Makita is a great brand and we have a few dozen items already and i'm on a mission to purchase every item by makita!

So there's my comparison if you're torn between all the different options.

My co-workers have equivalent dewalt and milwaukee fans.
