Pros & Cons
Pros
It works, i drive a 2018 nissan pathfinder. Makes topping of car and truck tires easy. Will make a little block to insert if needed. To top of a tire to 35psi, from say 28 psi, takes about 30 seconds. Fast at topping off truck tires.
It's lightweight, solidly built, and doesn't vibrate itself across the floor. I think this one is a tad bit quieter than others i've had.
Highly recommended. There's obviously work arounds to achieve this though.
Accurate pressure reading. Perfect 33 psi everytime. The current pressure is displayed on the dial in real time.
Cons
The digital gauge on my inflator is roughly 20% if u work with typical car tires. For 35 psi tires the pump must be set at 31 psi.
Overall, it is extremely overpriced for what you get. Return shipping and packaging costs for warranty coverage are on the buyer.

Works great, and the fact that i can set the pressure and it will stop is super nice.
Pumps fast even when filling higher pressure truck tires up to 75+psi.
The 4 amp/hr genuine makita battery showed 3 out of 4 dots of power remaining after about 15 minutes of tire pumping.

If you are looking at this for your regular road vehicle than i would recommend spending a few more dollars for the makita 160 ... Read More
Not a big deal, just me being a lazy human.
It’s about $80 more but will definitely work a lot better.
Competitiveness
I tried the same technique with my rigid and found that this solved the issue i was having with it.
The rigid certainly wins in the feature department.
It’s also nice that, while people have differing opinions on brands, makita make good stuff.
Since i have used both devices, i can provide a little comparison:price: makita: $109 on amazon ($129 at hd); rigid $89 at hd.
