Pros

It's not bad for small projects that need a little sanding. Used on the deck, a bit too high to get under railing.

I am sorry to give such a poor rating to good company but this sander deserves it. Thank you for charging me a premium price for a piece of junk.

Makita sander is still being shipped with bent corners on the sanding pad. Dust collector is worthless.

Plastic base plate fails after less than 2 hours. This is an obvious design flaw. I expect a power tool to last more than 30 hours of use.

Had to go online for instructions on how to attach sandpaper sheets, as the instructions that came with the unit were unclear.

I would have love to have it fitted with variable speed but given the price i paid for---i shouldn't complain.
