This is not the first makita orbital sander ive owned

The last one lasted me over 20 years and it only broke because i hit some string i didnt see and it ripped the pad

Long lasting tool in everyday use i used this sander on a daily basis for ten years before it gave up even then im not sure if it wasnt repairable
