Pros & Cons

Pros

The drill bits hold very well when all 3 points in the chuck are tightened. With the chuck tightened to a point the distance is 2 15/16 from the tip to the top of housing--not going to beat that.

What it lacks in speed it makes up for in torque. It has reversing function, and plenty of torque. The transmission is smoother.

Umm, if you like quality tools this is one. It seems a little pricey but i got a great deal on amazon. Was going to buy one locally but had no luck in finding one.

The corded drill has the smoothest power transfer of any drill i've ever owned. Power is strong and the sound is like a well tuned race car. At 4 amps it is a little under-powered.

Cons

It needs to be removed from it's holder to be used. There are no safety labels, safety instruction and safety warnings. Amazon will be held liable if they were injuries using this product.

Boring 3/4 holes with an auger tends to bog down this tool 2/3rds of the way through a pine stud. Drainage/waste/venting often requires the use of a 2 7/8 hole saw. The chuck has a problem tightening on hex shank and large bits - the hexshanks are pro...  Read More

Quality

Well made, small unit does what i need

Works great for cabinet installs, i run two of these and i think i'll be good the rest of my life with this quality

The cord is unusually supple and doesn't stick in your face when doing overhead work.

If you're looking for the absolute best 3/8 inch corded right angle drill ever, look no further.

Price

It seems a little pricey but i got a great deal on amazon.

Plus the $25 off this holiday period made it a great buy.

I paid extra$ to get the tightest head space ava.

And it's about 6 times as expensive.

Shipping

Item was shipped fast and at a resonable cost.

Competitiveness

It is far superior than the corded dewalt that is also on the market.

This is top quality and far superior (albeit more expensive) alternative to the right angle extensions.

Obviously, a better drill would have been something like the 7 amp, low geared milwaukee 3107-6, but it simply wouldn't fit in that space.

We didn’t even consider another brand or model and just ordered another one.

A power lock out mechanism would be nice other than rotating the torquespeed limiting knob

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The drill is relatively high speed and as such is used as a 3” sandergrinder for fiberglass repairs and finishing

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

You will unplug this angle drill before you use the chuck key to change drill bits

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

At least you will after you have smashed your finger once

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Nice drill but has a large hair trigger

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Needed a drill to get into tight spaces and grew tired of battery powered tools that go obsolete when the battery dies and replacement batteries are not available

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

To settle the drill down for driving screws it took a moment to discover i had to limit the speed to reduce the torque

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Not many corded right angle drills to choose from especially if you want the low profile
