Follow up-i placed a call to makita-usa to get a manual/warranty.

Finally, the boxes assembly came with a paper-manual written only in chinese.

Competitiveness

The suction power rivals that of most cordless vacuum's; albeit a bit heavier with the larger 3, 4 or 5 ah batteries.

It uses the same battery as several of our other makita products.

Comparing prices, i actually got a free screw-gun and a free battery, compared to the cost of ordering a charger and battery separately.

And the suction is as low as any cheep vacuum on the market.
