This is really handy for packing up the saw and moving it in and out of storage. It lifts smoothly into the open position and locks firmly. Great value & functionality.

Throw away the instructions they make it more complicated than it really is

They do reverse but it is not really necessary

Extend and adjust the bottom of the leg first to make then stable then adjust the top to height to get the timber dead flat across the saw that way no movement

I dont rate the lenght stop for anything critical i tried it with some 2x4 and it had too much springiness this may be because my saww is very large and the depth stops need adjusting quite high out of the telescopic tube it may be better with say a 250 saw
