Pros

The 286 comes with a extra grip handle to hold it steady whilst your drilling concrete brickwork or drywall. Plenty of torque to turn big bits. Sturdy powerful and makita quality. It has the power and torque for all the jobs that i used it on.

Cons

Makitas drills are very powerful, but as far as reliability, terrible. The mode selector ring was forever being knocked into hammer mode and is really fiddly to set to screw mode. Makitas warranty service is hopeless as you never hear back from them w... Read More
