This is a great item and quality i was looking for with affordable price.
Quality well made, although head is large it contributes to wide beam when on wide mode very useful for close up viewing.
I use it all the time- camping, car wrenching, lighting up coyotes with the ar15- works awesome.

Competitiveness
This is yet another great tool from makita's 18v lineup.
The spot light has a very narrow, super-bright beam that travels very far.
Just made the purchase and i dont know how the battery life or the durability is but it seems solid like all other makita products.

This work light suffers from the same flaw as other makita work lights in that the head swivel is limited by the number of builtin detents

Most led lights have such poor color quality it is hard to see what you are looking at even if it is brightly lit
