It looks very sturdy. Easy to clean from dust, mud, etc. At that price it's brilliant.
It’s very powerful and the sound quality is great. Cracking little radio use for spotify mainly with my phone. Have mine paired to an alexa to get workshop filling sound. Really impressed with this addition to my makita collection.

Really good sound and it’s plenty loud enough, one of my old 3ah batteries in it lasts a 40 hour week and some
I'm using 18v 5ah batteries and it's playing most of the day only using one battery.
Mainly for people who already use makita 18v system.

Ive also used a 12v battery for a while which obviously didnt last as long

The volume needs to be turned up separately on the unit and your phone

Unfortunately in my case my phone is so long that the door bends the wire a bit tightly

Alternatively your phone can sit in the slot on top of the speaker propped up by the handle
