The milwaukee 3gen and newer offer more peak torque but not as smooth. The trigger response alone requires very little force and is silky smooth to operate. The flashlight function is really.

Arrived on time but it was left on my front deck in full view of the road in the original makita box advertising to anyone walking by exactly what it is

I had upgraded to the makita dtd153z first and although it is a good brushless impact driver i found it lacking in versatility

With the amount of settings on this impact driver i now only need to take this to do virtually all my fastening jobs without stripping screw heads over tightening or stripping screw holes and threads

I use it when repairing cars it can unscrew almost everything then i use a more powerful tool

I would consider the next gen makita 18v and dont intent to go with bulky 40v versions such tools these are supposed to be compact tools and dont need the run time with the extra bulky battery
