Pros

The item was properly packaged and quickly shipped. Its compact size is easily its best trait. My husband and i share our home with three blue & gold macaws and a lesser sulfur crested cockatoo.

Great for blowing away leaves and dirt from our porch, walkways, and patios. These are great for larger jobs but a pain to use for smaller jobs like for my deck and patio.

The nozzle secures fairly securely to the body of the blower in either of the two positions. As far as i'm aware, this is the only blower of its kind that's able to also double as a *.

Makita's 3 amp-hour batteries provide ample power for this tool. Other amperage batteries are also available. I use this one much more than my high power corded set.

It works and has been very reliable for the last 9 months. I’m amazed at how well it works. Works like a champ.

Cons

Makita leaf blower runs intermittently on fresh batteries. It should be priced like a flashlight or charger, not like a circular saw or drill.

I bought this for our bee biz to blow bees off frames.

Price

I thought that this item was a little pricey for a blower, but now that i have used it, it is worth the money.

But wait for it (and the bag) to go cheaper as they're both kinda spendy for what they are at their full retail price.

I thought i was buying the full size blower and imagine my surprise when it arrived in a small package.

Competitiveness

I have several other makita tools, so battery interchange is another bonus!

Note: we already owned the battery and charger which we use for other makita tools.

I already have 6 other battery powered makita tools with three 18v batteries so i did not need another battery.
