Pros

Makita is always a safe bet for all tools imho. Yellow makes some great tools too. It's a great tool.

The variable speed control (1 thru 6) is a blessing, on low its quiet and still moves alot of air. Bought it last year for clearing snow. Seems to last long enough for blowing snow off the driveway or moving leaves on the patio or lawn.

Cons

The battery lasts for about 6 min on high. We have to recharge the batteries three time just to do our average drive.

Competitiveness

I have two 5amp makita batteries that power the makita blower way better.

Glad i didnt get a 18v i would probably be wishing for more power.

It’s very strong and will lift furniture off the deck if not careful, 5ah batteries last about 30+ minutes on full throttle
