The makita e-00913 impact xps #2 phillips 2 power bit, 5/pk is good and effective. These were used to replace the fascia boards around a whole house and performed excellent.
My new goto for bits is makita hands down. This length is probably my fave length of bit. My favorite bits tend to be from germany (wiha and felo brands) but they are very pricey and not stocked by local stores.

They are about 5 times more expensive than your cheap standard drill set but they will last 10 times longer
